Older Adult Services at Silver Leaf and Mirasol Communities

Aspires Older Adult Services are designed by adults age 50+ living in Loveland Housing Authority communities. The goal is to engage older adults in community-based activities that promote healthy, fulfilling lives. A Resource Navigator works with residents to build out programs and activities that create a strong, vibrant community.
Healthy Living
Aspires Older Adult Services number one goal is for residents 50+ to have the opportunity for healthy aging in their community. Resource Navigators partner with you to determine what health, wellness, and nutrition activities or resources you feel are useful to you and the community around you. Examples of programs include:
- Community Gatherings
- Health and Wellness Fairs
- Fitness Classes and Clubs
- Biking and Walking Programs
- Emergency Assistance Fund
Join others in the community to build a healthy, vibrant neighborhood.
Community Connections
Aspires Older Adult Services is also about creating connections with neighbors, new friends, and others. Resource Navigators partner with residents to plan community programs both on and off-site that provide opportunities for you to meet new people or spend time with friends. Residents take a leadership role in deciding which activities and programs they would most enjoy, and the Navigator assists with coordination and communication. Activities might include:
- Special Hobby and Interest Groups
- Outings to Local Points of Interest
- Recreation Center Programs
- Cultural Events and Activities
- Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors
- Education Workshops
