A Year Worth Celebrating

Volume II, Issue No. 1 Spring 2026

As we settle into 2026, we’re taking a moment to look back at everything our residents, partners, and community made possible last year, and honestly, it’s a lot to be proud of.

In 2025, Aspire delivered nearly 8,000 programs and services to 845 residents across fourteen LHA affordable housing communities. Behind every one of those numbers are real moments: goals reached, a crisis navigated, a skill built, a door opened. The numbers reflect real momentum:

Infographic for ASPIRE, partner of Loveland Housing Authority, showing stats: 1,459 volunteer hours, 845 residents served, 7,984 service sessions, 936 connections, $20,400 awarded, and 96% residents benefitted.

2025 also brought meaningful growth for Aspire. We welcomed a Development and Grants Coordinator to our team, strengthening our ability to expand services and secure long-term funding for the work that matters most. And with the opening of Jacoby Meadows, LHA’s new affordable housing community for seniors 55+ in Windsor, Aspire extended its reach to Weld County residents who previously had limited access to our on-site support.

Because here’s what we know: a safe, stable home is just the beginning. It’s the foundation that allows people to pursue education, focus on their health, build financial stability, and put down roots in their community. That’s the work Aspire is here to support. And we’re grateful for every partner, funder, and community member who makes it possible.

Resident Stories

“It felt like home.”

Kathy moved into her apartment at Jacoby Meadows, LHA’s new affordable housing community for seniors, the day before the community Thanksgiving potluck. For most people, the first week of moving in looks like unpacking boxes, adjusting to a new environment, quietly settling in. But that’s not Kathy’s style. She’s “not one to sit still.”

In no time she was organizing events like watching the next big football game and using the Sunset Lounge, the community gathering space, for cookie swaps and conversations over hot cocoa. Perhaps it’s no surprise. Kathy performs as Mrs. Claus for the Windsor Downtown Alliance, and that same warm, bring-people-together energy followed her right through the door at Jacoby Meadows. Having a sense of community is important to her, and she wasted no time getting to know her fellow residents and encouraging them to get involved in their new home.

Long before she was Mrs. Claus, Kathy had a long, successful career in property management. She knows better than most what a well-run community looks and feels like—the right questions to ask, the details that matter, and what residents deserve. That insider perspective makes her take on Jacoby Meadows all the more meaningful: “I’m very happy to be here. I love the kitchen, the quiet, how attentive maintenance has been.”

The staff at Jacoby Meadows has made all the difference, too. Property Manager Jenny Bowman and Aspire’s on-site Resident Service Coordinator, Taylor Lange, are there to ensure residents have access to the resources and support they need and to help create a true sense of community. Jenny even came through for Mrs. Claus in a pinch. “Jenny was able to help me with my Mrs. Claus costume when I needed it. There are a lot of nice people here; if you need anything you feel like you can knock and ask your neighbor—you can’t put a price on that.”

A few weeks later, Kathy had one final thought to share: “I’m very happy here.”

Mark you calendars! The Annual LHA + Aspire Golf Tournament is back on Friday, June 26 at Loveland’s Mariana Butte Golf Course, and we’re aiming to make it our biggest year yet.

This community favorite brings together golfers, business leaders, and supporters for a beautiful day on the greens with a purpose: raising a net $50,000 to directly fund Aspire programs and the Educational Enrichment Scholarship Fund. Every dollar raised helps local residents pursue college degrees, technical training, and continuing education—opening doors to greater independence and stability.

And here’s the thing, you don’t have to golf to make a difference.

Sponsorships are one of the most impactful ways to invest in our community while showcasing your business to an engaged audience of local leaders and supporters. Whether you’re looking to make a meaningful donation or explore sponsorship opportunities at any level, we’d love to have you on board.

Partner Spotlight

Aspire is proud to partner with KidsPak, a local nonprofit dedicated to ensuring food-insecure youth in Larimer County have enough to eat—not just during the school week, but on weekends and through the summer, too. Through KidsPak’s Weekend Food Bag Program, discreet bags of supplemental food are tucked into kids’ backpacks every Friday, helping them show up to school on Monday ready to learn. During the summer months, KidsPak extends that support directly to families at community sites like ours, bridging the gap when school meal programs are out of session. Together, we’re making sure kids living in our housing communities have one less thing to worry about and one more reason to thrive.

Supporter Spotlight

We are incredibly grateful to the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) for awarding Aspire a $10,000 Direct Effect Award!

This support helps us sustain and expand our free wrap-around services for individuals and families living in affordable housing communities operated by Loveland Housing Authority.

Thank you, CHFA, for investing in housing stability, health, and opportunity in our community. Together, we’re helping neighbors thrive.

We’d also like to take a moment to thank Krazy Karl’s Pizza for partnering with us this past December for a community fundraiser. Their generosity and commitment to giving back locally is exactly the kind of community spirit that makes Northern Colorado special.
