History
The Loveland Housing Authority (LHA) launched Aspire in 2018 to provide stronger services and resources for people living in affordable housing communities.
A committee of local stakeholders, guided by the vision of LHA’s Executive Director at the time, Sam Betters, spent more than a year outlining community needs, available resources, and the model for Aspire.
The organization was first known as Aspire 3D—a name inspired by a poster in Sam’s office that read Dream, Dare, Do. While the name has since been simplified to Aspire, the idea of encouraging people to dream of new possibilities, dare to take bold steps, and do the work to create change remains an important part of our foundation.
Aspire’s innovative approach places Resident Service Coordinators directly in communities to work alongside residents. Together, they identify strengths and needs, and then build partnerships and programs that support families and strengthen communities.
We believe that a thriving community requires more than just housing—it requires connection, support, and opportunity.
